Ishq Vishk Rebound box office collection day 1: Ishq Vishk Rebound is a reboot of the Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao-starrer Ishq Vishk, which was released in 2003. The film, which stars Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibran Khan, and Naila Grrewal in the lead roles, is directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari. The film, which was released on June 21, had a poor opening at the box office.

As per Sacnilk.com, Ishq Vishk Rebound earned less than ₹1 crore nett on Friday. The romantic comedy, which was promoted on a big level, could only mint Rs 85 lakh on Friday. However, as the weekend is here, the film might pick up on Saturday and Sunday and may attract a young crowd, considering the film is about love in modern times.
The film had an overall theatre occupancy of 15.37 percent on its opening day, with major contributions from the night shows.

Earlier, at an event, Rohit Saraf talked about his film and said that Ishq Vishk Rebound is not a remake or sequel of Shahid Kapoor's film. He was quoted as saying by ANI, "It is not a remake or sequel of Ishq Vishk. The thing that is common between the two films is that they belong to the same franchise. But it's a new story altogether, a love story about Gen Z."

Directed by Nipun Avinash Sharmadhikari, Ishq Vishk Rebound is a sequel to the 2003 cult romantic comedy Ishq Vishk. The film marks Pashmina Roshan's debut on the big screen as well as Rohit Saraf's male lead debut on the big screen. The story of the movie revolves around best friends who have fallen in love with each other and are now navigating the tough road of their relationship with a lot of drama.
The film is produced by Ramesh Taurani and co-produced by Jaya Taurani under the banner Tips Films Limited and it was released in theatres on June 21.
