Ishaa Saha on Indu season 3: You will have to watch the second season to know that

After more than one year of wait, Ishaa Saha’s Indu 2 was dropped on Hoichoi on January 20. The cliffhanger ending of the first season of the thriller has built anticipation among the viewers. Created by Sahana Dutta, the first season features Suhatra Mukhopadhyay, Chandraniv Mukhopadhyay, Judhajit Sarkar, Payel De, Manashi Sinha, and others.

The first season explores how Indrani, aka Indu (Ishaa Saha), encounters a number of mysterious events before and during her marriage. After her marriage, she realises that her in-laws and husband have too many secrets to hide. The season ends when her brother-in-law, played by Suhotra, asks her to solve the mystery. 

Interestingly, the second season begins where the first season ends. Indu continues to investigate. Will there be a third season to it? “You will have to watch the second season to know that,” said Ishaa. Talking about the second season, she added, “All I can tell you is that we shot the second season in a very little time. We had a tight schedule and we had to pull through an enormous job.” 

Indu 2 has been one of the most anticipated shows. How did Ishaa handle the pressure? “I stayed away from the pressure. We had a very difficult time during the tight schedule on the floors. If I started thinking about their expectations, I could not have done my job,” she said. However, she mentioned that the team became like a family, “The Indu team is like a family. We tried to have a good time while shooting,” she said.  

Ishaa admits that the first season was calm. “When we did the first season, we did not know that the response would be so huge. I was calmer and more composed. Now it is different. Also, I changed as a person in the last two years. It is easier for the Guptodhon franchise because my character Jhinuk is somewhat like Ishaa Saha. But Indu is nothing like my character,” she said.
