Aritra Sen’s Ghore Pherar Gaan is all set to release on March 17. Billed as a musical love story, the film features Ishaa Saha and Parambrata Chatterjee opposite each other for the first time. Besides, Reshmi Sen, Gourab Chatterjee, and others are there in the film.

While talking to OTTplay at the music launch event, Ishaa said that working with Parambrata is one of the reasons she agreed to do the film. “There are two things that draw me to a film – the story is something and the scope of my character. I think It is the same for almost everyone. Ghore Pherar Gaan is Tora’s story. The film captures her emotional journey and I loved it. On top of that, I got to work with Paramda (Parambrata). He is one of the inspirations of our generation’s actors,” she said.

Elaborating further, Ishaa said, “I worked with almost all the eminent actors – Ritwickda (Chakraborty), Abirda (Chatterjee), Anirban (Bhattacharya), and others. I never had a chance to work with Paramda (Parambrata). When I got this offer, that worked. One of the reasons I was keen to do Ghore Pherar Gaan is I wanted to work with Paramda.”

Isha also talked about her experience working with Parambrata. “We knew each other but were very formal. When we went to the floors, we got to know each other better. Soon after reaching London, Paramba and I were sent to do a bit of our shopping. It was pre-fixed by the production team. That was kind of a funny experience. We carried a lot of bags around London. I remember, Paramda fuming when I was buying makeup for the shoot. He had nothing to do then. Later, he went to meet his aunt for lunch. Soon after that he called me and said that his aunt wants to ‘meet Indu’. I was very excited. I went and I met. I guess it was that shopping spree that broke the initial ice between us. By the time we went to shoot, I was not particularly scared of him,” she said.
