Alia Bhatt opens up about dealing with anxiety

Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt took to her social media handle on Sunday and announced that she was all set to do an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session. Hearing this, many of her fans and followers started bombarding her post with their questions. Among the truckload of questions thrown her way, we found an interesting one.

How Alia Bhatt deals with anxiety

One social media user asked Alia Bhatt about how she deals with anxiety. Without wasting any time, the spunky actress replied, “We all have certain things that might trigger our anxiety - for example I find myself getting very worked up with any sudden change or a situation I have no control over...”

Alia continues to reveal
She further said, “But it took me a long while to understand that… so prior to any of these moments I just try and be aware of it and if it's too much I allow myself to check out and feel the way I feel. Trying to control how you feel sometimes does more harm than good. Also speak to someone who you can trust! It helps!”

Alia Bhatt’s professional front
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in the smash hit film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, in which she was paired opposite Ranveer Singh. The film, which was directed by Karan Johar, also featured veteran actors such as Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. The film went onto become one of the hit films of the year 2023, surpassing the Rs 100-crore mark at the box office.

Alia Bhatt’s Jigra
This year also saw Ali Bhatt in the much-talked about Hollywood flick Heart Of Stone, in which she starred alongside Gal Gadot. Alia Bhatt is now gearing up for her next big release - Jigra, which is being directed by Vasan Bala.

Even though not much is known about the movie, the latest buzz is that the film also stars Vedang Raina and Sobhita Dhulipala, who have joined the film’s cast and will be seen in pivotal roles. The film is being jointly produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt herself. Jigra is slated to release on September 27, 2024.
