Is Ritabhari Chakraborty married and pregnant? Here is what we know and do not know

Ritabhari Chakraborty‘s post on her social media left the netizens dumbfounded on Thursday evening. Her fans and followers are clueless in understanding how and where this post appeared from. Ritabhari was contacted by the news media but she did not respond. 

What did she post? Ritabhari wrote on Facebook 'Me and my husband are very happy to announce that I am pregnant! Need your love and blessings!' 

As per sources, this post is part of a promotion strategy for her forthcoming work. The actress will debut on the OTT platform in a web series Nandini that delves into female infanticide. Directed by Mir Falaq, the story is taken from Sayantani Putatunda’s novel. According to many, Ritabhari’s post is part of the promotion of this project. Besides, the actress will also be seen in Mainak Bhaumik’s thriller Grihostho with Sourav Das and others.  

Ritabhari broke up with her boyfriend Tathagata a few months back. She did not say anything in detail but later commented that they still had a sweet relationship. Then why such a sudden post? Is she pregnant, or is her profile hacked? There is no comment from Ritabhari.
