Is Mahesh Babu's role modeled after Lord Hanuman?-Rajamouli's writer dad, Vijayendra Prasad opens up

Rajamouli has made India proud with RRR and now everyone wants to see what Rajamouli will come up with in his next film with superstar Mahesh Babu. The ace director is busy scripting for this film along with his writer dad Vijayendra Prasad. For the last few days, there has been news going around that Mahesh Babu's character will be based on Lord Hanuman.

As soon as this rumor came out, the national media took it to the next level by aggressively reporting it. But in a latest interview with Telugu media, Vijayendra Prasad has slammed the reports and cleared that there is nothing to do with Lord Hanuman in this film.

The ace writer adds that Rajamouli's next is a full on adventure thriller set in the forests of Africa and the scripting has almost reached the ending stages. As per the update from the writer, the shooting will start from the first half of 2024. Some big names from Hindi cinema will also be playing key roles in the film.

Rajamouli has roped in a popular casting agency from the US as he wants some big names to be a part of this film which will be made in multiple languages. For now, the news about Mahesh Babu's role being modeled after Lord Hanuman is baseless, says the film's writer Vijayendra Prasad himself. Watch this space for more updates on this film.
