Is Koushik Roy coming back with a new serial after Balijhor?

Koushik Roy became a household name as Soujanya owing to the popularity of Khorkuto. He again paired up with Trina Saha in Balijhar but failed to attract any audience, and the serial was stopped in two months. Koushik is now coming back to a new mega on Star Jalsha but with a different production house. Koushik, the poster boy of Leena Gangopadhyay's production house, will be seen in a serial produced by the production house of Jisshu U Sengupta and Nilanjanaa Senguptaa. 

The look set of the new mega is going on. The production house’s mega Horogouri Pice Hotel is going on. The rumor of the serial getting ended was afloat a few days back, but the serial's hero Rahul Majumdar dismissed the speculation. Jisshu and Nilanjanaa have zeroed in on the hero. Discussion about the heroine is ongoing. 

The channel wants to launch a new face as the heroine. New faces like Moumita Sarkar, Nayanika Sarkar, and Ananya Das also gave look tests. The production house did not let anyone know anything. According to the production house, the channel is yet to give a green signal, and hence they can not move on even after booking the studio. 

Koushik did not start any new projects after Balijhar. Two new serials, Tunte and Sandhyatara recently started on Star Jalsha, and there is a tug-of-war with the slots. Which serial will be replaced by the new mega? Netizens demand to finish Guddi and Gnatchora. But Bangla medium can also be axed since the Neel-Tiyasha duo can not attract the audience at the 8 PM slot.
