Tamil star Vikram commemorated the 22nd anniversary of his blockbuster movie Gemini on Friday. He expressed gratitude to fans who sent him messages on the occasion while promising to share important updates soon.
"Thank you so much for all the love pouring in today. Interesting updates coming in a few more days. Any guesses? And don’t forget to put it!!," Vikram tweeted, along with a photo of him striking the trademark pose of his character from Gemini.
In the 2002 gangster drama, Vikram plays a young and up-and-coming gang leader named Teja. The protagonist has a signature pose, which Vikram recreated in the photo to mark the film's anniversary. However, it's unclear what 'important updates' Vikram was referring to.
Is Vikram hinting at a big re-release of Gemini in cinemas again? The re-release trend has gained traction in the Tamil film industry due to a dearth of new and exciting content to attract crowds to cinemas, with many highly-awaited movie releases delayed owing to the impending Lok Sabha elections.
