Is BTS V's collab with Jackie Chan just a step closer to meeting Shah Rukh Khan? Desi ARMY want the Indo-Korean crossover

When the brand SimInvest teased fans with the letters 'V' and 'J' on their social media, everyone anticipated that 'V' would undoubtedly represent BTS' V aka Kim Taehyung, as he is the brand ambassador. However, the identity of 'J' remained uncertain, speculated to be either Jimin, Jin, or Jungkook from his band.

The brand, however, surprised everyone with a collaboration no one expected: Kim Taehyung teamed up with veteran Hong Kong actor and director Jackie Chan for an ad promoting the stock and trading app. Soon after the commercial went viral, Indian fans of BTS, also known as Desi ARMY, couldn't help but connect the dots and wonder if this was a step closer to V meeting the Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan. 

Why would fans think this is possible?

It all started when a photo of the Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan alongside Jackie Chan, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Jason Momoa at an industry event in Saudi Arabia in 2019 went viral, breaking the internet.

Now, with V and Jackie Chan having collaborated, Desi ARMY can't contain their excitement, hoping that this crossover with SRK will soon take place. It's no secret that fans have often referred to Taehyung as the 'Korean SRK' for his charming looks and poses.

The SimInvest ad:

The video shows V at a luxurious restaurant enjoying a meal. However, the scene also turns unexpectedly as Jackie Chan appears at the table. The two raise their glasses for a toast before dancing to the tune of a vinyl record, showcasing their playful moves. Jackie even imparts some combat techniques to V during the encounter. In addition to this, V also shared behind-the-scenes moments with the legendary superstar.

Where is BTS' V?

Taehyung and his bandmates RM, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, Suga, and J-Hope enlisted in the South Korean mandatory military service. In 2023, V, like his other members, made his solo debut with the album 'Layover,' featuring hit songs such as 'Slow Dancing,' 'Love Me Again,' and 'Rainy Days.'

Regarding his military service, he serves in the special forces of the 2nd Army Corps, stationed in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. His enlistment is scheduled to conclude on June 10, 2025, when and his bandmates RM, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, Suga, and J-Hope his group are said to make a comeback.
