Is the K-pop group BLACKPINK splitting up? According to rumours, Lisa and her agent YG Entertainment are in strife about contract renewals. According to an exclusive report from Munhwa Ilbo, the rapper's contract with her agency, which expires in August 2023, is apparently being considered.

However, due to the vast differences in the needs and demands of the two sides, no agreement has yet been reached. Chinese sources gave Munhwa Ilbo a hint that Lisa would decide not to renew her contract with YG Entertainment.

"We have been working with Lisa and YG Entertainment to see if she can appear on our show, but they have told us that it is difficult to discuss any schedules past August due to uncertainty with contract renewals," a Chinese source to Munhwa Ilbo.

In response to Munhwa Ilbo's statement, YG Entertainment said that it had nothing to do with the contract renewal situation. "There is no relation to her contract; it is because of [BLACKPINK's] tour and her personal schedule,"
