Irugapatru: Vikram Prabhu pens heartfelt note celebrating success of his film

Actor Vikram Prabhu’s romantic drama film Irugapatru, directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan, hit the theatres on October 6. The movie, which also stars Shraddha Srinath, has garnered positive response from the audience, and it continues to run successfully in the cinemas. As the film ran for four weeks at the box office, Vikram expressed his joy over the film’s success. 

In a heartfelt message, Vikram wrote on his Instagram post, “Thanku Thanku Thanku! The love that #Irugapatru has received and continues to receive after four weeks in theatres brings immeasurable happiness to our team. This success is not just about box office numbers but also about the positive impact it has had on people’s lives. Such films are rare, and I’m delighted to be a part of this wonderful team that brought it to all of you. Grateful.”

The story of Irugapatru revolves around the lives of three couples, exploring the complexities and challenges of love and relationships. It is a portrayal of the common experiences that comes with being in a romantic relationship. The film also features Vidaarth, Saniya Iyappan, Abarnathi and Shri in pivotal roles.

Irugapatru is bankrolled by Potential Studios and directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan, who is known for his previous works like Eli, Potta Potti and Tenaliraman. The film’s technical team includes Justin Prabhakaran (as music composer), JV Manikanda Balaji (as editor) and Gokul Benoy (as cinematographer).

Vikram Prabhu’s upcoming projects

Vikram is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Raid , which is helmed by debutant director Karthi. Raid is an action thriller drama film - also starring Sri Divya, alongside Ananthika, Soundara Raja, Daniel, Hareesh Peradi and Rishi Rithvik.
