Film’s plot:
The stellar actor that he was, Irrfan Khan played the role of Yogendra Kumar aka Yogi in the film with utmost conviction. Speaking about the film, it’s about Yogi’s interaction with a 35-year-old widow Jaya Sashidharan (Parvathy Thiruvothu), who is still in sorrow about her husband Manav’s untimely passing away.

Thanks to the constant and incessant coaxing that she gets from her friends and dear ones, she lands up creating her profile on a dating app, through which she lands up meeting Yogi. Whilst talking to him, Yogi suggests an idea to get rid of the unwanted messages on the dating site, which bears her profile.

Even though she is a bit reluctant at first, but, eventually, she agrees to meet Yogi for the second time. That’s when Yogi speaks to her about his past three girlfriends who are still dying to meet him. Not the one to believe him on face value, she tells him that she would like to meet those three ladies as his cousin!

Film’s plot:
A 10-year-old boy named Rohan (who happens to be the only son of the Home Minister) gets kidnapped from his hostel. Needless to say, all the law forcesset into action after that immediately. What happens after that is beyond anyone’s imagination. Revealing anything about the plot will be equivalent to letting the cat out of the bag!

All that one can say is that, irrespective of the box office standing, this film stands as one of the late Irrfan Khan’s all time best films. The seamless expertise and finesse which he exuded in the film is something that needs to be seen in order to be believed. A special mention to the young actor Sadhil Kapoor for having come up with an extraordinary performance.

Name of the film: Jazbaa
Producer/s: Sanjay Gupta, Anuradha Gupta, Nittin Keni
Directed by: Sanjay Gupta
Star cast: Irrfan Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Irrfan Khan

Film’s plot:
The film deals about an extremely prominent and super-efficient criminal lawyer Anuradha Verma (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), who has ever seen defeat in her professional career. But, on the personal level, she is a single mother to her daughter Sanaya (Sara Arjun). One day, the young Sanaya gets kidnapped. The demand of the kidnapper is to release their friend Niyaaz Shaikh (Chandan Roy Sanyal), who has been convicted for rape and murder.

Seeing the time running short and mind under tremendous pressure, the only person she turns to is the inimitable police officer Yohan (Irrfan Khan). As for Yohan, he is someone who had been suspended from the police department for ‘flouting the rules and regulations’ way too often.

The calm and cool demeanour with which Yohan approaches the case is something that really needs to be witnessed. Will Anuradha Verma manage to give in to the demands of the kidnapper or does she get the help that she wanted from Yohan and what happens ultimately to Sanaya is what forms the rest of the film’s story!

This interesting film has been set in the picturesque Kashmir. The film’s story starts off with the Kashmir’s insurgency, which prolongs through 1995. After Dr. Hilaal Meer agrees to perform an appendectomy on Ikhlaque, who happens to be a leader of a terrorist group, the former is accused of giving shelter to terrorists, which gives way to a massive shootout where the former gets killed and the doctor gets taken away for interrogation.

After some time, Ghazala's son Haider (Shahid Kapoor) returns back to his hometown, only to question his father's sudden disappearance. That’s when Roohdaar (Irrfan Khan) becomes the catalyst who could help Haider. In what way does Roohdaar help Haider or is it more than what meets the eye that forms the rest of the film.

Yet another milestone of a film in the repertoire of the sheer genius of Irrfan Khan!

Name of the film: Right Ya Wrong
Producer/s: Neeraj Pathak, Krishan Choudhery
Directed by: Neeraj Pathak

One day Ajay's wife (Isha Koppikar) is found mercilessly murdered, in which he becomes the key suspect. On the other hand, it’s his best friend Vinay who gets handed over this case.

What happens to Vinay who gets torn between helping his ever-best friend by proving his innocence or achieving a higher rank in the police department by investigating the case thoroughly. Amidst this confusion, a certain unexpected situation arises, which both Ajay and Vinay did not even dream of.

What happens to the undying bond of friendship between Ajay and Vinay, and what happens to Ajay at last is what forms the rest of the film.
