The Tamil film Iraivan, starring Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in lead roles, will be available to stream on Netflix starting October 26, less than a month after its theatrical release. The psychological action thriller film directed by I Ahmed was released in theatres on September 28 with huge expectations, but it failed to achieve commercial success.

Psycho: Netflix

This 2020 psychological thriller film was directed by Mysskin and features a talented ensemble cast, including Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aditi Rao Hydari and Nithya Menen. The film is about a psychopathic killer who kidnaps Dagini (Aditi), a radio jockey. Her boyfriend, Gautham (Udhayanidhi), who is blind, is devastated by his inability to prevent the kidnapping. He embarks on a spine-chilling journey to rescue her from the clutches of the psychopathic killer. The film is known for its suspenseful plot and captivating cinematography.

Netrikann: Disney+ Hotstar

This 2021 Nayantara-starrer is a psychological thriller that is a remake of the 2011 Korean thriller Blind. Ajmal Ameer, K Manikandan, and Saran Shakthi play supporting roles in the film. The movie revolves around a former policewoman who is now blind and has become the key witness in exposing a gruesome serial abduction case, unleashing hell on the city of Chennai. The film opened to mixed reviews, with most critics praising Nayantara's performance. 

Imaikkaa Nodigal: Amazon Prime Video

Yet another serial killer film from Nayanthara's filmography is the 2018 thriller Imaikkaa Nodigal, which stands out as a unique entry in the serial-killer movie genre. Directed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu, the film has a stellar cast, including Anurag Kashyap, Atharvaa, Raashi Khanna, and Vijay Sethupathi. It unfolds as a psychological action thriller, focusing on a CBI officer's relentless pursuit of a cunning serial killer. The movie received praise for its unexpected plot twists and nail-biting climax. Nayanthara also received accolades for her performance in this film.

Vettaiyaadhu Vilaiyaadu: ZEE5

Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon (GVM), this Kamal Haasan-starrer is a cult crime thriller that deals with psycho killers. The film also stars Jyothika and Kamalinee Mukherjee in prominent roles. The GVM film deals with two serial killers who rape and murder young women for sadistic pleasure. The movie also touches upon other topics like suicide and homosexuality.
