At the IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on Friday, Rashmika Mandanna's energetic dance performance to the Oscar-winning song Naatu Naatu shook the dance floor.

At the Narendra Modi Stadium's grand opening ceremony for the IPL 2023, performers like Arijit Singh, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Rashmika Mandanna dazzled the crowd with their incredible performances.

The actor danced to many well-known songs, such as Dholida from Gangubai Kathiawadi, Saami Saami from Pushpa, Naatu Naatu from RRR, which won an Oscar, and many others.

When speaking about her performance at the IPL Opening Ceremony, Rashmika previously commented that she always wanted to see a match but never got the opportunity. And here she is performing for the opening ceremony—it's like she made it.

With songs like Tum Tum and Oo Antava, Tamannah delivered an electrifying performance.

In the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the star-studded defending champion Gujarat Titans (GT) and the four-time champion Chennai Super Kings squared off to kick off the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). On Friday, GT went on to win the opening game.

The game pitted two generations of Indian cricketers against one another. On one side was CSK captain MS Dhoni, who in the late 2000s and early 2010s propelled Indian cricket to new heights of success by winning the first ICC T20 World Cup (2007), ICC Cricket World Cup (2011), and ICC Champions Trophy (2013) and became the first captain to do so.

The T20 cricket spectacular will take place at 12 different locations, with the first match taking place on March 31 at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium and the tournament final taking place there on May 28.

The IPL 2023 matches would be held at 12 different locations, including Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati (the Royals' second home), and Dharamsala (the Kings' second home).

Day matches will begin at 3:30 p.m. IST, while night matches will start at 7:30 p.m. IST. The matches will be played according to two different timetables.
