International Yoga Day is being celebrated today with full energy and enthusiasm across the globe. This day is marked annually on June 21 on a global scale since 2015 and aims to highlight the importance of fitness globally.

On this special day, veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has shared what fitness means to him. He, even at the age of 68, does not shy away from practicing yoga on a daily basis.

Taking to Instagram, the talented actor shared a collection of glimpses wrapped in a video. The glimpses showed how he has been practicing yoga regularly and is not restricted to just one Instagram picture.

Anupam Kher captioned: “Best wishes to all of you on #InternationalYogaDay. A gift from India to the whole world with a message for both healthy body and peace of mind! I hail all my Yoga Gurus! I hail India!”

Anupam Kher is an inspiration to the youth of today. Recently, the 68-year-old sustained a hairline fracture on the sets of his upcoming sports film Vijay 69, a health update he shared with his fans and well-wishers on social media.

Not only this, but the actor does not plan to retire anytime soon from his acting career – a profession which requires an apt combination of both physical and mental health. He will next be seen in Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial The Vaccine War.

Kher recently gained limelight when he starred in Vivek Agnihotri's controversial movie, The Kashmir Files along with actor Mithun Chakraborty, which is based on the Kashmiri Pandits' genocide in 1990; the film went on to become a huge box office success.
