Insidious: The Red Door OTT release date: When and where to watch the horror drama movie online

Insidious: The Red Door marks the fifth in the Insidious franchise starring Ty Simpkins, Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne. Directed by Wilson himself, the supernatural horror movie also marks the direct sequel to Insidious: Chapter 2. The film was released theatrically this year on July 7, and now it's all set to drop on OTT.

Plot of the film

Insidious: The Red Door follows Dalton, who has all grown up and is all set to go to college. He fought multiple demons in the last two instalments, where his dad Josh went to the spirit world to save him. Meanwhile, now, after almost and decade the father-son duo has a new evil to deal with and at the same time is compelled to go beyond the infamous red door behind which lies horrifying terrors.

Makers and cast of the film

The story of the Patrick Wilson directorial is by Leigh Whannell and Scott Teems, while the latter has penned the script for the screen. Bankrolled by Jason Blum, Oren Peli, James Wan and Leigh Whannell under the banners of Screen Gems, Stage 6 Films and Blumhouse Productions in association with Sony Pictures Releasing. Alongside Wilson, Simpkins and Byrne in major roles, the horror drama movie also features Sinclair Daniel, Hiam Abbass, Andrew Astor, Juliana Davies, Steve Coulter, Peter Dager, Justin Sturgis, Joseph Bishara, David Call, Leigh Whannell, Angus Sampson and Lin Shaye.

Insidious: The Red Door, which was released on July 7, 2023, is all set to have its OTT premiere on Netflix on October 6, 2023.
