Indraneil Sengupta opens up about his relationship with Barkha Bisht Sengupta and his daughter, Mira

Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht Sengupta had troubles in their relationship. After a marriage of more than a decade, they are now separated. The growing tension between Barkha Bisht and Indraneil has been heard since 2021.

Indraneil will soon be seen as Feluda in Sandip Ray’s Nayan Rahasya which will release on May 10. The trailer of the film is out and faces flaks from Feluda fans. Evidently, the challenge will be tough this time.

The other challenge is handling his personal life. Indraneil has been separated from Barkha for almost three years. They have a daughter. How are they handling this crisis?

In a recent interview with Pratidin, Indraneil said that he never wanted to reveal his personal life in the public domain. “That thought did not change. There are many talks and speculations but I don't take part in them,” he said. He also cleared it that they are seeking legal divorce and the process has started.

However, Indraneil is happy that their daughter is mature and did not have a problem understanding the decision of their parents' separation. Indraneil said, “People in our age group, our friends, and people around us showed immaturity and delivered polarized comments. Mira is far more mature than them. She was nine and a half when we separated. Adults should learn from her about how to be neutral. Kids take no side until they are pressurized.”

Mira lives with her mother. Indraneil goes to her whenever he gets time. Father and daughter go on restaurant dates. Indraneil said that they have a frank and candid relationship. But since it is her growing up age, Indraneil wants her to stay with his mother. There are many things that a mother is the best person to explain to her daughter. He does not want to take the mother's place, said Indraneil.
