The very moment one utters the name Rohit Shetty, one is always reminded of his extremely loved and much-appreciated ‘Singham’ series, which has always met with blockbuster response at the box office. This time round, the prolific filmmaker is all set to set the OTT space on fire with his yet another cop-drama titled Indian Police Force, which stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi in the leading roles. Here are the five reasons for you not to miss Rohit Shetty’s ‘OTT version’ of the cop-verse.
Sidharth Malhotra’s top-cop avatar in Indian Police Force
After having shown his prowess as Captain Vikram Batra in Shershaah and as a RAW agent in Mission Majnu, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen yet again as the ‘man in unform’ (in the role of DCP Kabir Malik). Rohit Shetty really has spun magic with his earlier cop-verse actors. That’s why, all are super excited to see the magic which Rohit Shetty has spun with Sidharth Malhotra in Indian Police Force.

Shilpa Shetty’s fierce and fearless character, unlike her last film
Shilpa Shetty, who is (of late) best known for her judging skills in reality shows, had a release in the form of ‘Sukhee’, a film that did not quite ruffle any feather at the box office (although her performance was appreciated by many). That’s why, it will be interesting to see the lady in a fierce and fearless role of ATS Chief Tara Shetty in the Indian Police Force. Her role in Indian Police Force is a total opposite of her role in Sukhee, which makes it super interesting as to what this ‘superrr se ooopar’ lady has in store!
Vivek Oberoi returns to the ‘entertainment zone’
The Vivek Oberoi, who had roared in Bollywood with films like Company, Saathiya, Omkara, Krrish 3 and others had disappeared from the mainstream silver screen, although he was busy with OTT shows like Dharavi Bank and others. But, since the canvas of the Indian Police Force is nothing less than a full-fledged film, everyone is definitely excited to see him in action… all over again. Indian Police Force will see him in the role of Joint CP Vikram Bakshi.

Rohit Shetty’s cop-verse continues with Indian Police Force
With Rohit Shetty at the helm of things, one is definitely guaranteed of blowing of cars and breath-taking action… to say the least. Testimony to Rohit Shetty’s style of filmmaking stands in the form of the Singham series, Simmba and Suryavanshi. With a title like Indian Police Force, one only expects that the action will be seen multi-fold.
Indian Police Force’s ‘arresting’ music
What is remarkable about Rohit Shetty’s films is that, even though action and plot happens to be the mainstay, music also plays an important role. Ditto can be said about the Indian Police Force. Those who have heard the music have agreed to the fact that music will surely form one of the highlights of the series. For the unversed, it is Lijo George who has lent his vocals in the title track. Besides his vocals, he has even composed the music of the series, alongwith DJ Chetas.
