Indian Idol 15 has captivated audiences with its amazing set of talented contestants. The reality show, judged by Shreya Ghoshal, Badshah, and Vishal Dadlani, airs on Sony Entertainment Television. The upcoming episode of the singing-based reality show is called Christmas Concert. Interestingly, CID 2 actors Shivaji Satam, Aditya Srivastava, and Dayanand Shetty will grace the show. A snippet from the same episode where Shreya made an interesting revelation has surfaced online.
Shreya Ghoshal on Lata Mangeshkar and CID
On Indian Idol 15, Shreya Ghoshal revealed that Lata Mangeshkar liked CID. She conveyed this to the team CID 2 (Shivaji, Aditya and Dayanand). "I’ve heard that Lata Ji really liked CID too. She’s met you (team CID) and expressed it to you as well. So, from Lata Ji to (contestant) Ragini’s (Shinde) generation, there’s a connection there," shared Shreya.
Reacting to this, Shivaji Satam mentioned, "That’s exactly what we say, CID, and all of us are blessed by the blessings of Saraswati Maa." The veteran actor further admitted that CID 2 stars are huge fans of Indian Idol 15. "We were just talking about this in the back; we don’t get time to meet, but we watch the show, and there’s always hope that we’ll meet one day," he added.
In the same episode, Vishal Dadlani also expressed his admiration for the show CID. The singer expressed happiness over the show's return to the small screen. "It’s been 6 years since you all came into our lives. For 6 years, I’ve been hearing people say, ‘You’ve taken CID’s place, bring CID back!’ The public is crazy for you. It’s not just a show, CID is a culture in India!," said Vishal.

Meanwhile, CID 2 is all set to premiere on SonyLIV on December 21, 2024. You can watch the fresh episodes of the show every weekend at 10 pm. The show will also stream on OTTplay Premium.
