Indian Idol 13: Armaan Malik gives contestant Rishi Singh a delightful surprise

Multiple award-winning playback singer Armaan Malik visited the set of Indian Idol Season 13 and sang the song Pehla Pyaar, alongside contestant Rishi Singh.

Rishi, who hails from Ayodhya, performed the song Pehla Pyaar, by Armaan, during the audition for the show.

As the fans of Armaan shared the video on social media that went viral, the artist took notice of the incident.

Responding to that viral video, Armaan said, "It’s always amazing to discover new voices from our country and when I came across the clip of Rishi Singh singing my song ‘Pehla Pyaar,’ I couldn’t resist sharing it because he truly nailed it."

He also mentioned that he himself was not the only one who found Rishi extremely talented. He revealed that his fans and listeners, who also loved the original version, where also full of raise for Rishi’s version, and they went the extra mile in spreading the video clips.

Armaan said, "An exceptional voice like Rishi Singh's deserves to be heard."

Asked about what made him appear in the show, he said, "The Indian Idol team reached out to me for coming down to the set and surprising Rishi and I said yes in a heartbeat. 'The Dream Debut' episode on Indian Idol this past weekend featured the two of us singing 'Pehla Pyaar' together on stage and it was genuinely such a wholesome experience!"

He wishes all the best to Rishi Singh and every other young talent who is dreaming to make it big musically.

It is interesting to notice that Aramaan was also one of those young kids who started his training in music at the age of four, and took part in the musical show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs in 2006. He made his debut as a child singer in 2007 and lent his voice for the song Bum Bum Bole, for the Aamir Khan starrer film Taare Zameen Par.

Armaan delivered some superhit award-winning songs including Main Hoon Hero Tera, Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon among others.
