Shubman Gill, the first batter for India, appeared to be in excellent form during the Cricket World Cup 2023 match against Bangladesh. India got off to a strong start, but Rohit Sharma scored the most of the team's runs, which they needed to win by 257 runs.
Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of Sachin Tendulkar, was spotted at the MCA Stadium watching India play. The moment Sara's spectator photo went viral, Shubman Gill got teased online by the fans. With this, the duo once again started trending on social media to spark dating rumors.
In the 38th over, Gill made a crucial catch of Towhid Hridoy, which caused the cameraman to pan to Sara, who was cheering from the stands.
This was Shubman's second World Cup game following his recovery from dengue. He got off to a strong start against Pakistan in his comeback game before being dismissed for attacking the bowlers. Gill, though, began the Pune vs. Bangladesh match carefully. Shubman received the outside edge on Hasan's second delivery of the over, which traveled to the third-man boundary for four runs.
Notably, Shubman and Sara were formerly said to be dating but then broke up and stopped following each other on social media. Reports of the two reuniting and starting their love story didn't surface until a few months ago.
