AP Dhillon, a popular Punjabi music singer, has grabbed the limelight today for negative reasons. Few media persons have caught him spending quality time with his girlfriend, actress Jonita Sandhu wherein he can be spotted wearing tri-coloured shoes.
Soon after this news surfaced, several social media users thronged on their social media handles and dropped unparliamentary words to the singing sensation.
One X (formerly known as Twitter) user wrote, “AP Dhillon is wearing these shoes, and disrespecting our national flag.”
Another Twitter user said, “He is a popular Punjabi singer AP Dhillon. Just before 15 August, he is flaunting his shoes on Instagram. Check the colour of his shoes. Is he deliberately insulting our tri-colour? Is he one of those Khalistan supporters? I am not sure, but I find this behaviour disgusting!”
One more Twitter user commented, “What else can be expected from a Canadian singer? AP Dhillon, a famous singer, is promoting shoes resembling tri-colour of our national flag before Independence Day. Such an act is giving a hint of him having a Khalistani connection? #BoycottAPDhillon”
“Punjabi singer AP Dhillon wore shoes that had the three colors of our national flag,” wrote one more observer on social media.
Now only time will tell how AP Dhillon will tackle this negative news.
Meanwhile, two days ago, AP Dhillon’s female fans felt heartbroken after reports claimed that he is dating his 'With You' co-star Banita Sandhu. The rumours emerged after the actress shared a video of them kissing on a trip.
Sandhu, for the uninitiated, made her Bollywood debut as an actress with Shoojit Sircar’s film, October, in 2018.
This development has dismissed rumours of AP Dhillon being in a relationship with Bollywood actress Khushi Kapoor.
