The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 game between India and Pakistan has begun and the emotions of fans from both sides are riding high. As the iconic Melbourne Cricket Stadium (MCG) has filled to witness the much-awaited clash, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was seen getting emotional.
As the national anthem of the two sides was played, the 'Hitman' was seen getting teary-eyed when the Indian national anthem was reaching its end.
When the last words of the national anthem - "Jai Jai Jai Hai" - were being sung, the camera panned towards Rohit Sharma who got a little emotional and closes his eyes immediately.
Soon after, his photos started going viral on social media with fans talking about how they are feeling about this game.
As for the clash, India won the toss and opted to field first. The side chose Ravichandran Ashwin ahead of Yuzvendra Chahal as a spinner.
They went ahead with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, and Arshdeep Singh as their pace attack.
