Virat Kohli unlocked a new achievement by scoring his 50th ODI century against New Zealand.

Today marked a historic day in the annals of Indian cricket as Virat Kohli surpassed Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 centuries in World Cup ODIs. During the semi-final match between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium, Virat achieved his 50th century.
As the world celebrates King Kohli's achievement, the entire B-town is showering their wishes on the former captain. Kohli's century on Wednesday also marks his 80th international hundred, second only to Tendulkar, who concluded his career with 100 international centuries. Several celebs from the tinsel town are now reacting to Virat’s achievement. Social media is flooding including actors like Arjun Kapoor, Samantha, Athiya Shetty have hailed the king and even Navya Naveli Nanda has labeled him a G.O.A.T.
While celebrating Virat’s big win, Sunny Deol wrote, “The KING Conquers! Wankhede stands witness to history as KING KOHLI secures his 50th ODI century, setting a world record.”
Randeep Hooda took to his X account and wrote, “Absolutely phenomenal performance by @imVKohli, securing his 50th ODI century! The undisputed KING of the cricket world, Kohli reigns supreme.”

Sachin Tendulkar, who held the record of having 49 centuries in ODIs for the longest time, took to his social media acco unt to praise the new GOAT of the Indian cricket team. The former cricketer penned, “The first time I met you in the Indian dressing room, you were pranked by other teammates into touching my feet. I couldn’t stop laughing that day. But soon, you touched my heart with your passion and skill. I am so happy that that young boy has grown into a ‘Virat’ player. I couldn’t be happier that an Indian broke my record. And to do it on the biggest stage - in the World Cup Semi-final - and at my home ground is the icing on the cake.”
Apart from this, several celebrities, including Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, and John Abraham, were present at the stadium. The A-listers witnessed the historic event live and jumped out of their seats to celebrate this special moment.
