Actress Lavanya Tripathi is set to return to the OTT space with the upcoming web series Miss Perfect. On Thursday, Disney+Hotstar unveiled the teaser for the series, offering a sneak peek into the main characters and the humour infused into the storyline.

From the teaser, it becomes apparent that the series draws inspiration from popular sitcoms, particularly focusing on amusing conflicts and dramatic scenarios unfolding within a residential building.

The choice of a residential building as the backdrop allows for the integration of numerous unique characters sharing the same living space, setting the stage for continuous conflicts and drama. The show seemingly aims to capture the dramatic and comedy effect of the hit series Only Murders in the Building, where murderers and investigators coexist under one roof.

Similarly, in Miss Perfect, a residential complex seems to house both the chaos junkies and those who have an innate aversion towards disorder of any time. Take, Lavanya Tripathi's Miss Perfect, for example. She can't just look away from a slightly out-of-balance picture frame on a wall or she can't stand the sight of a messily opened chip packet left unattended on a coffee table. She just can't and this is the title Miss Perfect.

When someone points out, "This urge for perfection is your problem," Miss Perfect counters, "How's that a problem? Would you ask a singer to just speak the lyrics instead of singing them?" It's a compelling argument.

However, as is always the case, humans are not flawless. For someone who craves perfection as vital as oxygen, navigating an imperfect society proves to be exceedingly challenging. It's reasonable to assume that her neighbours don't make it any easier, leading to considerable animosity. Within the same building, there resides a Mr. Perfect. Could he be the solution to Miss Perfect's companionship woes? Can she finally find an ally in Mr. Perfect, someone who sees the world the way she does, providing solace in the knowledge that she is not alone?

Miss Perfect also stars Abijeet Duddala, Abhignya Vuthaluru, Jhansi, Harsha Vardhan, Mahesh Vitta and Harsh Roshan. The premiere date for the series has not been announced yet.
