Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth-starrer Lal Salaam is gearing up for its grand release on February 9. Now as per latest updates, actor Vishnu Vishal has completed his dubbing portions. The actor, who took to his social media handles to share pics from the dubbing studio, could not stop gushing about superstar Rajinikanth’s acting prowess in the film. The veteran superstar will be seen in an extended cameo appearance in the film, which is helmed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
While sharing the pics, Vishnu Vishal wrote, “#lalsalaam, Dubbing done...In awe of thalaivar's performance.Trust me guys...It's gonna be a great watch...So damn excited to see u all soon in theatres on February 9th…Proud to be a part of this movie.” (sic).
Lal Salaam, which will arrive at the theatres on February 9, will also be clashing with other releases including Manikandan-starrer romantic drama Lover and Tovino Thomas-starrer Malayalam investigative thriller Anweshippin Kandethum. But as a Rajinikanth-starrer, Lal Salaam potentially has more edge over other films at the box office.
Lal Salaam, which is touted to be a sports drama, marks the comeback of 3-fame director Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who had last directed her debut documentary Cinema Veeran. The upcoming film focuses on the politics around Test cricket, and has Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth playing the lead roles. Besides the lead stars, the movie will also feature ace cricketer and former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev (cameo appearance), Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar, Thambi Ramaiah, Nirosha, Vivek Prasanna, Dhanya Balakrishna, and others in key roles. AR Rahman has scored music for the film.
