Imtiaz Ali's Amar Singh Chamkila on Netflix: Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra bring the untold story of Punjab's original rockstar, but the wait is too long

Amar Singh Chamkila, starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra, has been added to Netflix's impressive lineup of future films. However, he was assassinated at the age of 27. Chamkila was the best-selling musician of his era and is still considered among the greatest performers Punjab has ever produced.
