The movie, which marks popular actress Trisha Krishnan’s comeback to Malayalam films after a long gap, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on January 2, 2025. As per the latest updates, Identity has completed its censor formalities and bagged a U/A certificate. The runtime of Tovino Thomas and Trisha Krishnan’s film is reportedly locked.
As per the latest updates, the highly anticipated Tovino Thomas starrer has completed the censor formalities. Akhil Paul and Anas Khan’s ambitious film has bagged a U/A certificate from the censor board, owing to its violent action sequence that is not recommended for underage audiences. According to the reports, Identity has also locked its final runtime. The movie, which stars Vinay Rai in a pivotal role, has a theatrical runtime of two hours and 37 minutes.
Along with the censor details and runtime, the plot of the Tovino Thomas and Trisha Krishnan’s film is also revealed. According to the new updates that are going viral on social media, Identity revolves around “a chilling crime that break out in the Coimbatore city, and the investigation that follows.” The Identity trailer revealed that Tovino appears as a crime investigation sketch artist named Haran Shankar, while Trisha plays the role of Alisha, the prime witness of an investigation led by Allan (Vinay Rai).
Along with Tovino Thomas, Trisha Krishnan, Vinay Rai, the highly anticipated project features Archana Kavi, Aju Varghese, Shammi Thilakan, Giju John, Mandira Bedi, Reba Monica John, and others in the pivotal roles. Jakes Bejoy composed the songs and the original score, for the film. Akhil George is the director of photography. Chaman Chakko handles the editing.
