96 is directed by Prem Kumar and is a romantic drama starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha. The film is about a reunion of students from the 1996 batch, 22 years after their graduation. This also marks the reunion of former lovers who had some unresolved issues during their separation. 96 became a commercial success and was remade in several South Indian languages.
