But there is reason to be happy as it turns out Karan Johar with his latest hint on Instagram might have confirmed that Kushi Kapoor’s next feature film has gone on floors today and that too with Ibrahim Ali Khan as her co-star marking his feature film debut. Karan Johar today has shared a story on Instagram that on the face of it is a normal wishing you luck message to Shauna Gautam, who is starting her directorial journey as her film goes on floors today. He wrote, "All my love and blessings to you @shaunagautam... day 1 of your directorial debut… a big day! A memory forever." But if you scratch the surface and see a bit deeper you will realise that this could be a confirmation for a news we heard a few weeks ago.

What Is The Hint?

It was some time back we heard that Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to make his big screen debut with Sarzameen, but he also had his second film in the Kitty. He will be seen in a romantic drama with Khushi Kapoor. The movie will be a slice-of-life drama backed by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment and will stream on Netflix. Yes, you read that right. The said film is a direct-to-digital release that will have both young actors at the helm of it.

About The Film

The Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor-starrer is a rom-com that is being directed by Shauna Gautam, who has assisted Karan Johar on Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. The filmmaker has been a famous name among the industry folks as Neetu Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and more wished her as she embarked on her direction journey. However, the movie is yet untitled and there are no release window or schedule details about the same on the internet yet.
