i20 on OTT: These two platforms in contention to bag the digital rights

i20 is a low-budget Telugu film that hit the screens on June 14, 2024. PB Mahendra has produced this which had Suryaraj and Marina Singh in lead roles and is a kidnapping drama. The film did not work at the box office, but the makers have almost locked the OTT deal.

We have come to know that Aha and ETV Win are the frontrunners to bag the digital rights to the film. Discussions are on as of now and the rights will be locked anytime soon. If you see the latest trend, not one but two or three platforms are bagging the digital rights to Telugu films and the newest example is Sudheer Babu's Harom Hara. The action drama is now streaming on Aha, ETV Win, and Prime Video.

Similarly, i20's digital rights are being quoted by the makers for a fancy price. Of late, the films that do not do well at the box office are getting decent traction on Telugu OTT. That is the reason, the makers are in talks with Aha and ETV for the digital rights.

i20 is a kidnapping drama told on a realistic note. The kidnappings showcased in the film delivered a critical message to the parents in today's society. Avishkar Mvie Creations is the production house behind this film, and they are confident that they will end up in the profit zone once the OTT deal is locked in the coming days. 

The action in the movie and the realistic characters showcased in i20 look decent. The star cast and technical team are new and worked hard on the film. But sadly, the film did not get many theaters and it went away without many noticing it. We need to see which OTT platform has the rights. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
