I was advised to get a nose job, reveals Yami Gautam

There are many out there who think that ‘good looks is a passport to success’, especially if you are in in showbiz. On the other hand, there are others who place talent above everything else. There have been many cases wherein the actors have changed their physical appearances through plastic surgery aka ‘corrective surgery’ or as they say, ‘undergone the knife’. While many chose to remain tight-lipped about it, only a few admit it. Many film makers often tend to advice the actors to get corrective surgery done. One such advice was given to actress Yami Gautam by someone s tating that, she should get a nose job! The actress revealed this while talking in an interview with Indian Express.

In the said interview, Yami Gautam opined that, ‘changing one’s physical appearance has to be a personal choice and not a professional diktat to get more work in the industry’. She also went into reveal that she was ‘advised’ to go under the knife, although she did not mention any other details about this. She added that, while there are so many advice floating around and that this (to get a nose job done) was one of them and that she was glad that she didn’t take that advice.

Echoing her sentiments was actor Sunny Kushal (who also happens to be her co-star in the film ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga’). In the same interview, Sunny said that he too was once asked to get a nose job done ‘because’ he had a nose like ‘pakore’. He added that, he refused it flatly.

As for ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga’, besides Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal, the film also stars Sharad Kelkar in an important role. The film, which has been directed by Ajay Singh will be premiering on Netflix on March 24 this year.
