I Am Kathalan out on OTT: How to watch Naslen, Lijomol’s drama-thriller online

Premalu duo Girish AD and Naslen’s latest drama-thriller I Am Kathalan, which had hit theatres in the last quarter of 2024, is currently streaming online. The movie is out on Manorama Max and can be streamed on OTTplay Premium and Prime Video too, but on one condition.

Currently, the film, is scripted by actor Sajin Cherukayil and also has Lijomol Jose and Dileesh Pothan in pivotal roles, is available to stream only in Malayalam.

I Am Kathalan out on OTT: How to watch film on Prime Video and OTTplay Premium

Though the movie is streaming only on Manorama Max, the subscribers of Prime Video can also stream the film through the platforms through the premium subscriptions. While Prime Video will need the user to individually subscribe to its various partner platforms, OTTplay Premium has customised plans such as Power Play pack, Simply South and Thailava plans ranging from Rs 99 to Rs 299 and offers access to about 40 OTT platforms.

Manorama Max is part of all three plans. Fans of Malayalam cinema can subscribe to Power Play pack for Rs 299 monthly that will also give them access to Sony LIV, which has just dropped Joju George’s Pani – which is available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada as well.

Reasons to watch I Am Kathalan

While I Am Kathalan is unlike the previous films that Girish AD had helmed, the movie still makes for a riveting watch because of its gripping script and performances. The film revolves around an engineering student who is humiliated by his girlfriend’s father and decides to get back at him by using his cyber skills to hack the latter’s bank. This also pits him against an ethical hacker and the cops.
