Hrudaya Kaleyam director Sai Rajesh teams up with Anand Deverakonda, Viraj Ashwin for Baby

Actor Anand Deverakonda is on a film signing spree. The actor, who's currently awaiting the release of Pushpaka Vimanam on November 12, had announced a slew of projects on his birthday earlier this year. He is now joining forces with Hrudaya Kaleyam director Sai Rajesh for a new-age love story titled Baby, which was formally launched today. Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Viraj Ashwin also play lead roles in the film that is being bankrolled by SKN (who's also produced Taxiwaala, Manchi Rojulochaie and 3 Roses) under Mass Movie Makers.

Producer Allu Aravind, directors Sukumar, VI Anand and Maruthi graced the film launch ceremony in Hyderabad on Thursday. Vijay Bulganin has been roped in to compose the music while Raam Reddy will crank the camera for the same. Editor Karthika Srinivas, associated with projects like 100% Love, 1 - Nenokkadine, Pushpa, is also part of the film. Suresh is on board as the art director. The regular shoot of the film is all set to commence from October 20 in Hyderabad, the makers confirmed.

Baby also marks the debut of Vaishnavi Chaitanya in Telugu cinema. The director Sai Rajesh was also previously associated with the production of Kobbari Matta and Colour Photo (which released on aha). A few hours prior to the film's launch, the producer SKN had enthusiastically posted, "During Taxiwaala production, I heard a fantastic point from my friend who is an upcoming dir. That day i told it ll be my next film. That subject and scenes haunt me every day. Glad today I m starting that film with pooja ceremony."
