Hridayam: Pranav Mohanlal's romantic film to stream on Disney+ Hotstar on THIS date

Pranav Mohanlal's coming-of-age tale, Hridayam, is definitely showing a promising run at the box office. Fans have been raving about the film, its heartfelt story and stellar performances definitely. And cinephiles who have not gotten a chance to catch the film on the big screen, fret not. The film will reportedly make its way to OTT soon.

Hridayam was released in theatres on January 21. The streaming rights of the film have been acquired by Disney+Hotstar, and although the OTT release date for the film has not been officially announced yet, it is rumoured that the film will be available to stream on February 18, after completing its theatrical run. The film’s producer, Visakh Subramaniam, however, has been quoted by Onmanorama, saying that the film would not be available on the digital platform for at least the next 2-3 weeks. He had also mentioned that the film will continue to run in theatres, even after its OTT release.

The film tells the story of Arun Neelankadan (Pranav), over the course of two important phases in his life, one during his college days and the other set after them. The film explores the impact that the presence of different people in his life had on him, and how the experiences of his past shaped his present.

In addition to Pranav, the film also features Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran in pivotal roles. Vineeth Sreenivasan has written and directed the film, which is produced under the banners of Merryland Cinemas and Big Bang Entertainments. The film’s music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
