Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a global star today. She not only rose to become one of the top actors in Bollywood, but when it came to transitioning to Hollywood, she made sure that she played only lead roles. So, she debuted in Hollywood with Quantico (2015-2018) and went on to star in big-budget films like Baywatch (2017), Isn’t It Romantic (2019), The Matrix Resurrections (2021), Love Again (2023) and Citadel (2023). But it wasn't always smooth sailing for Priyanka. From being an outsider in the film industry to becoming one of the most sought-after actors, this former beauty queen has achieved what only many can dream of.
And so, when she uploaded a 'then and now' post in which she compared a picture of her 17-year-old self to the 41-year-old stunning woman that she is today, we were inspired. From a newly-crowned teenager to becoming the global superstar that she is today, her post is precious.
Priyanka Chopra looks back on her early days
Recently, Priyanka posted a heartwarming note on Instagram. She shared 2 beautiful pictures while comparing her success: one from her teenage days when she was newly crowned Miss World, and another of her recent look.
In the caption, she joked about her eyebrows in the early 2000s, recalling that the arch shape was a trend back then. The actress recalled how she kept herself motivated while attending pageants by pretending that she belonged to the industry. She still recalls being a 17-year-old girl wearing a heavy sari and her newly acquired crown, which kept slipping. She still cherishes every moment.
She posted another picture, a mirror selfie. It is a picture of present-day Priyanka, who looks super cool in a white track suit and oversized grey shirt at the age of 41. She's certainly come a long way! In her journey, Priyanka has received a lot of backlash from Indians and some Bollywood stars, but she continues to inspire actors like Alia Bhatt, Taapsee Pannu, and Pakistani actor Iqra Aziz.

And so, Priyanka continues doing what she does best: starring in good films. She is currently busy filming Heads of State in France along with John Cena and Idris Alba.
