As a general rule, the Housefull franchise believes that more is better. There appear to be a significant number of actors in Housefull 5. Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Riteish Deshmukh star in the out-and-out comedy film, but reports suggest that director Tarun Mansukhani and producer Sajid Nadiadwala are planning to bring back some familiar faces from previous films. It would appear that the plan is to unite all the franchise actors in an effort to elevate the Housefull world.

Arjun Rampal, John Abraham, and Bobby Deol in talks

As per reports in Mid Day, Arjun Rampal, John Abraham, and Bobby Deol—the actors who played the lead roles in the first, second, and fourth editions, respectively—are reportedly in talks to join the cast. There will be a showdown between the good guys and the bad guys in the film, according to the creators. The double-role Chunky Panday is currently the subject of discussion. Possible new cast members include Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Lara Dutta, three of the show's leading females from previous films. Some actors will make brief appearances, while others will play pivotal parts.

The impending comedy riot will take place on a luxurious cruise ship. After shooting in London in August, the crew and actors will board a cruise ship for 45 days of filming.

Shooting schedule

Aside from visiting Scotland, Ireland, France, and Spain, the trip departs from Newcastle, England, according to the source. Since a massive A-list cast will be starring, Tarun wants to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

By October, the filmmaker hopes to have wrapped up filming.

Anil Kapoor's exit

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor was rumoured to be in talks to star in Housefull 5, but he is reportedly no longer involved with the production. The talks supposedly broke down over compensation, despite the fact that Sajid and Tarun were eager to cast the veteran actor. According to a source, Sajid and Anil had a disagreement on the fee that the latter had requested.

Similar to the Welcome series, Nana and Anil were supposed to portray similar roles and collaborate. According to the source, the makers are writing a new role for Nana now that Anil has left Housefull 5.
