The latest report suggests that the actor suffered an injury while performing a stunt for the fifth installment of the Housefull franchise. Akshay has been hurt in the eye during the incident. Akshay Kumar injured on Housefull 5 sets
According to HT City, Akshay Kumar, who is leaving no stone unturned to wrap up the film's shoot, was performing a stunt on set. While doing so, an object came flying and hurt his eye. Soon after the accident, the shoot was stalled and a doctor was called on set. However, Khiladi Kumar is doing well now and is hopeful to start the shoot as soon as possible.
A source told the portal, "An object came flying in Akshay's eye while he was doing a stunt. An ophthalmologist was called on the set immediately, who bandaged the eye and asked him to take some rest, while the shoot resumed with the other actors. However, even with the injury, Akshay is determined to join the shoot back soon because the film is in final stages of shoot, and he doesn't want it to get delayed."

Sharing a picture of the entire star cast, they wrote, "Cruising through the last schedule of our cinematic journey!"
Akshay and the team started shooting for the film earlier this year. They jetted off to Europe and shot across different cities. Housefull 5 is slated to hit theatres on June 6, 2025.
