Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of laughter with Housefull 5! The pre-production work on Tarun Mansukhani's film is likely to go on floors this month. According to a media report, the filmmaker will head to the UK for recce in 10 days. While the comic caper starring Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and others will be primarily shot in London, the director wants to shoot at some untapped locations as well. The latest update is that Housefull 5 will go on floors in August and around 65 days have been designated for the shoot.

As per a report in Mid-Day, the reason why the makers of Housefull 5 have charted out a long recce is that Akshay has already shot two films in the UK. The makers of his upcoming comic caper want to visually avoid similar locations. Tarun Mansukhani wishes to bring untapped locations to the big screen.
"He has designated 60 to 65 days for the shoot. The cast will prep thoroughly before flying out to London. Since it is a large cast, the prep will help in efficiency, and reduce wastage of time. Tarun wants to wrap up the principal photography by October before Diwali. Only patch shoots will remain after that," a source told the tabloid.

Abhishek Bachchan joins Housefull 5
A few days ago, Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed Abhishek Bachchan's return to the Housefull franchise. The actor will be playing a pivotal role in the fifth installment of Housefull. In an official statement, Bachchan expressed his happiness to be working on Housefull 5.
The actor said Housefull has been one of his favourite comic franchises. Jr Bachchan added that coming back to the franchise felt like returning home to him."I am looking forward to having mad fun on the sets with my fellow actors Akshay and Ritesh. I’m also so excited to collaborate again with my dear friend Tarun Mansukhani," he mentioned.
Also starring Kriti Sanon and Chunky Pandey, Housefull 5 is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 6, 2025.
