We are all busy choosing a team between Team Green and Team Black as we stand a couple of days away from the release of the much-anticipated House Of The Dragon Season 2. The anticipation for the second season of the Game Of Thrones spin-off show is at an all-time high because the creators managed to shape a successful Season 1 and promise a worthy future for it. We now stand at the gates of Westeros, as we are about to witness the first episode of the show in the coming week. There is much to be discussed and dissected, and there is a fire to save ourselves from. But while we curiously wait for someone to open the doors for the tale of dragons, HBO just casually announced that House Of The Dragon Season 3 has been greenlit.

House Of The Dragon Season 3 Announced

Yes, you read that right. Of course, it shouldn't come as a surprise to any of us that HBO is as excited as we are for the IP, as they are not even waiting for a season to release to confirm the next. But what is also fascinating is that this impact comes after the negative limelight that Season 8 of Game Of Thrones received. A good pilot season for House Of The Dragon has proved that a Game Of Thrones fan still beats in us and there is no way a weak ending is going to put us off for the future this soon. Read on to learn everything you should know about the same.

As per Comicbook, HBO is already working on House Of The Dragon Season 3 even before the release of Season 2, and they have even confirmed that for the audience. "George, Ryan, and the rest of our incredible executive producers, cast, and crew, have reached new heights with the phenomenal second season of House of the Dragon," said Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming, Head of HBO Drama Series and Films.

Orsi continued, "We are in awe of the dragon-sized effort the entire team has put into the creation of a spectacular Season 2, with a scope and scale that is only rivalled by its heart. We could not be more thrilled to continue the story of House Targaryen and watch this team burn bright again for Season 3." The confirmation re-establishes the fact that the world of Game Of Thrones still has a very wide audience.
