It feels like we are still not recovering from the excitement of House Of The Dragon Season 2, which wrapped up its run this week. For the past month, we've been obsessing over everything about the show—from Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke to the dragons, and of course, Matt Smith's trippy time at Harrenhal. The visions he experienced almost throughout the season ended up building his character in ways we did not see coming. These numerous visions finally led him to realize that the war was far bigger than he initially thought.

But what truly caught our attention was the last vision, which turned out to be a game-changer. The prophecy we've been hearing about (and have already seen come true in Game Of Thrones) was shown to Daemon, prompting him to get back on track. But the burning question is: Was that Emilia Clarke in the vision?
To clear up any confusion, the vision that Daemon saw when Alys Rivers made him touch the God's wood was an entire recap of Game Of Thrones. It depicted the Army of the Dead, the Night King, and Daenerys Targaryen rising from Khal Drogo’s pyre with three dragons hatching from their eggs. The vision then showed the future destruction and chaos. However, fans have been debating whether it was actually Emilia Clarke reprising her role as the Mother of Dragons.
To clarify, it was not Emilia Clarke but Imogen Ruby who portrayed Daenerys Targaryen in the scene where the dragons rose on her shoulders. Sharing glimpses from the set and the show, Ruby also posted a heartfelt note: "Watch your mouth, you're speaking to the Mother of Dragons now. My pleasure to join the cast of HOTD, step into an iconic role, and an honor to bring such an influential character to life, even for a minute in time. I had a blast. Absolutely over the moon to have been given this opportunity!" she wrote.

She became a household name with the role, and over the course of the eight seasons, her character became one of the most beloved in television history.
