Yo Yo Honey Singh delivered a chartbuster track Lungi Dance in 2013. The song was a part of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express's music album. Sung by Honey, the song was picturized on SRK and Deepika. The rapper, too, had a small appearance in the party number. In a recent interview with Cine Connect, Honey recalled the song's shoot, where he was made to wait for 12 hours.

Honey Singh recalled his experience of shooting the Chennai Express song Lungi Dance on set. The rapper shared an interesting anecdote by saying, "The only funny moment from the Lungi dance set is that they called me and made me sit for up to 12 hours with makeup. It was their plan to make me wait. They were like, ‘This guy is so excited to be part of this shoot, let us make him wait.’"
The rapper further revealed he sat for 12 hours on the set and Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh gently greeted and spoke to him. However, Honey couldn't understand the situation on the set as everyone was nice to him but the makers weren't taking his shot for the song.
Eventually, Honey gave his shot for Lungi Dance by the end of the shoot. "So that was the craziest and funniest thing. They were testing my patience," he added.
