#Home: Producer Vijay Babu says Onam release offers perfect setting to watch the film with family

The excitement for Onam celebrations has doubled. The new Rojin Thomas directed family drama #Home is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on August 19, just in time for Onam.

According to Pinkvilla, the actor-producer Vijay Babu is happy that the streaming service has enabled his film to reach a larger audience. The movie, which he says everyone in the family can relate to, has the possibility to cut across all segments. Babu also calls its release coinciding with Onam as the ‘cherry on the top’.

Vijay Babu said that Onam, which is celebrated by families together, offers a perfect setting for everyone in the household to sit down together to enjoy the ‘beautiful’ film.

#Home tells the heartwarming story of a father Oliver Twist, played by Indrans, struggling to connect with his tech-savvy and social media addicted sons.

The film also features Sreenath Bhasi, KPAC Lalitha, Vijay Babu, Naslen, Manju Pillai, Maniyan Pillai Raju, Anoop Menon and Aju Varghese. The upcoming movie is directed and written by Rojin Thomas and produced by Vijay Babu under his banner Friday Film House.
