The makers of HIT: The First Case have wrapped the filming of the upcoming suspense thriller. The makers of the Hindi film took to social media to announce the news today.
Sanya Malhotra, who stars in the film alongside Rajkummar Rao, also shared a few photographs from the wrap celebrations of the film on her official Twitter handle. In her post’s caption, the actress called working on the film ‘an amazing journey’.
The photos feature the cast and crew all smiles, cutting a cake to celebrate. T-Series, who serve as producers on the film, also announced the film wrap with a post on Twitter.

Rao had also made a post on social media announcing a wrap on filming. Sharing a photograph of a clapboard with the words 'It's a wrap written on it’, Rao captioned the post ‘Can’t wait for you guys to watch this’.
The upcoming Hindi film is a remake of the 2020 Telugu film of the same name, which starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles. The film told the story of a skilled police officer suffering from PTSD who investigates the case of a missing girl. The film marked the feature length directorial debut of Sailesh Kolanu. The director also helmed the remake as well.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore under the banners of T-Series and Dil Raju Productions. The film went on floors in September last year. Calling the story ‘engaging’ and ‘relevant’ in a statement, Rao had talked about how the film had given him an opportunity to play a character he had not explored before in his career. Malhotra had said that the film had an ‘interesting and intriguing story’.
HIT: The First Case is scheduled to be released on May 20.
