The second instalment of the popular thriller franchise, Hit, is set to arrive in theatres on December 2. Hit 2 stars Adivi Sesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead and is written and helmed by Sailesh Kolanu. Produced by Prashanti Tipirneni under Wall Poster Cinema, the film is presented by actor Nani. The first single from the film, Urike Urike, sung by Sid Sriram and Ramya Behara and composed by MM Sreelekha was unveiled today.
Urike Urike is a song that takes you through the romantic escapades between an officer KD and his love interest Aarya, played by Adivi Sesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary. This is a typical Sid Sriram number - a soothing melody with an undeniable classical touch in the rendition. The beautiful composition complements the blossoming romance between the leads and Sid Sriram gives his everything to make the experience all the more special. Krishna Kanth's lyrics contributes to the solid impact.
MM Sreelekha has always been known for her melodies over the years and she doesn't disappoint at all in her comeback film. Sesh and Meenakshi share terrific on-screen chemistry in this number that flows seamlessly. Everything from the playback singing to the actors, lyrics, cinematography and the composition works in the case of Urike Urike and team Hit 2 has certainly kickstarted their promotional campaign on a promising note.
Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, Komalee Prasad, Srinath Maganti, Srikanth Iyengar play key roles in the film which has cinematography by S Manikandan and is edited by Garry BH. Manisha A Dutt is the production designer.
