Directed by Ashwni Dhir, Hisaab Barabar, starring R. Madhavan, will be released on ZEE5.

ZEE5's upcoming satirical thriller film, titled, Hisaab Barabar will be released on January 24. Written and directed by Ashwni Dhir, the film stars R. Madhavan in the lead role. The plot will show how Madhavan's character unravels a huge banking scam. Ahead of the release, makers introduced a new character, Monalisa Yadav, played by Rashami Desai.
On January 17, ZEE5 took to their official Instagram account and shared a poster of Hisaab Barabar featuring Rashami Desai who joined the cast as Monalisa Yadav. In R. Madhavan's film, Rashami will be seen in various roles as she is a babysitter, caretaker, and always ready for help. In the poster, she is looking tender with a smile on her face. The text on the poster reads, "Not your ordinary neighbour."

Sharing the poster, they captioned it, "Monalisa Yadav – Kabhi babysitter, kabhi caretaker, par hamesha ready to help! #HisaabBarabar premieres 24th January, only on #ZEE5."
In the trailer, R. Madhavan is portrayed as Radhe Mohan Sharma. He is a meticulous and honest civil servant, a ticker checker, who is particularly conscious of his finances. When a colleague requested him to file an IT return, Sharma initially hesitated, pointing out that he was not a CA. However, he agreed to help and the fraudulent practices of the bank were exposed and amounted to Rs. 2400 crore.
The tagline of the trailer reads, “System hilne wala hai, scammers darne wale hai. Ab ek aam aadmi karega #HisaabBarabar” (The system is about to shake, scammers will be scared. Now, an ordinary man will bring balance).
Speaking about Hisaab Barabar, Madhavan said in a statement, "I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of Hisaab Barabar, my first venture with ZEE5! Playing Radhe Mohan Sharma has been such a fun challenge ' he's an ordinary man thrown into an extraordinary situation, and the journey he goes through is nothing short of a rollercoaster."
Meanwhile, Hisaab Barabar also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kirti Kulhari, Rashami Desai, Sukumar Tudu, and Sachin Viddrrohi in key roles. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Sharad Patel, and Shreyanshi Patel.
