Hisaab Barabar on OTT: R Madhavan takes on financial fraud in upcoming satirical drama

On January 24, 2025, ZEE5 (OTTplay Premium) will premiere Hisaab Barabar, a riveting social drama written and directed by Ashwni Dhir and produced by Jio Studios and SP Cinecorp. The film, starring R. Madhavan, is an emotionally charged comedy-satire flick about a regular guy's bravery in exposing a big bank's billion-dollar swindle. Plot overview

In this highly anticipated story, Madhavan portrays Radhe Mohan Sharma, a railway ticket inspector who discovers a small yet inexplicable anomaly in his bank account. After getting involved in what seems like a small matter at first, he eventually finds out that a powerful banker named Micky Mehta (Neil Nitin Mukesh) was behind a huge financial scam. Along with his fight against systemic corruption, Radhe must contend with the intricacies of his personal life, coming to terms with the fact that, unlike financial statements, relationships are not amenable to quantitative solutions.
