Himanshi Khurana and Asim Riaz have parted ways four years after being together. The two, who met on Bigg Boss 13, had to go their separate ways owing to religious reasons. She had posted the reason as her Instagram story and now deleted it to share another post about their situation. Himanshi calls their decision ‘mature decision’ in her latest post.

“With due respect to our respective religions we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs,” Himanshi had shared previously. She has now deleted the post. The actress confirmed that she and Asim are not together anymore through the post. She also asked for privacy through the said post.

Himanshi has now shared one Instagram story in which she says that the two tried but could not find a solution for their happily ever after. She shared that the two are in love with each other but luck is not on their side. Thus, she has no hate and only love. “That’s called mature decision,” her post read.

Himanshi-Asim’s love story

Himanshi met Asim on Bigg Boss 13, which aired on TV in 2019. At that point, she was engaged to someone else and was a wild card contestant on the show. She entered as Shehnaaz Gill’s competitor and rival but the focus slowly shifted to Asim, who was smitten by her. Despite trying to maintain her distance from Asim, Himanshi ended up breaking her engagement with her fiancé and came back on the show to support Asim. The two did not exactly make things official back then but they were each other’s cheerleaders, constantly. They would post photos with one another every time they took a trip together. The two have also collaborated for various music videos since Bigg Boss 13 happened.
