Shah Rukh Khan about his signature pose

When an audience from the interview asked how the iconic pose was invented, the Jawan actor replied that in the 1990s, there was a thing called ‘dip’ for dance moves. He sincerely thanks choreographer Saroj Khan for the signature pose.

While explaining how it was invented, SRK shared that he practised a certain dance move all night, and still, he couldn't master it. He instantly felt ashamed of himself. Next day, Saroj Ji asked him to forget about that step as it was not looking good on him and asked him to do the ‘dip’ and he just simply put his arms out. That's it.

How the signature pose went viral

Shah Rukh Khan further revealed that he kept trying to do the arms out pose in other films as well. However, it kept getting harder and more difficult for him to maintain the same posture. “And I kept getting arms out and I think because I was putting my arms out so much, I had to do it more intensely. Then I made it scientifically”, and he recreated the pose on the stage instantly. “I am only fooling you all. There is nothing, it is just arms out”, he added.
