Hi Nanna’s Samayama launch date out! Will Hesham Abdul Wahab repeat the Kushi magic?

After Srikanth Odela for Dasara, Hi Nanna is another film where Nani is introducing a new director to Telugu cinema - Shouryuv. This is also a first for the production behind the film - Vyra Entertainments, backed by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala. Mrunal Thakur is cast as the female lead in the film that releases in theatres on December 21.

Hesham Abdul Wahab, who delivered a hit album for Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha starrer Kushi, is the composer for the film and there are high hopes on his work, given the emotional drama within Hi Nanna’s premise. While announcing a promotional campaign for the album through a glimpse, Nani even wrote, ‘This album will sweep you off your feet :) Let’s start with a song for now.’

The launch date of the first single of Hi Nanna, titled Samayama, was announced today (Saaya Tera, Nizhaliyae, Vivarane, Hridayame - Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam). The lyrical video of the song will be out on September 16. “Hi…… September 16th…Fall in love,” Nani tweeted, sharing an image where he’s stretching hands out of joy.

As of now, one could foresee that the story revolves around a single father with a daughter, who falls in love with another woman. Hi Nanna is expected to deal with the conflict between the couple and the child, charting the highs and lows in their relationships. Baby Kiara Khanna, Shruti Haasan and Niharika Konidela play crucial roles as well.

Sanu John Varghese cranks the camera while Praveen Anthony is the editor. Nagendra Kasi is the dialogue writer and the crew comprises production designer Avinash Kolla, costume designers Sheetal Sharma, Lakshmi Kilari as well. Vijay and Pruthvi are the stunt directors. After Hi Nanna, Nani is expected to work on a film with Vivek Athreya, which is currently in its pre-production stage.
